If you were sitting in an aisle seat you could forgo the privacy and get slightly less restrictive space for your feet. By feet I actually mean from above knee down. I got cramp when I moved in my sleep, and there were other passengers clearly uncomfortable. As soon as we got to the business lounge for connecting flights I changed our return seats for bulkhead ones which where way more comfortable!
